The Nigeria National Committee of the World Energy Council hosted a webinar on 22nd May 2020 on the theme “The Effect of Covid-19 on Nigerian Oil and Gas: The way forward” to examine how the oil and gas sector in Nigeria will come during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The webinar was moderated by the Chairperson of Nigeria National Committee, Prof. Abubakar A. Sambo and had Mr. Martin Young, the Senior Director, Scenarios and Business Insights of the World Energy Council, London as contributor. The panelists in the webinar were: Prof. Godwin Unachukwu, the Deputy Director, Institute of Climate Change Studies, Energy and Environment, University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Dr. A. S.
